I am thrilled to invite you to a weekend long self-guided personal retreat. Soul Trails are for those who are seeking new direction in life, or needing rest, renewal and fresh perspective. We invite you to carve out time to unplug, and step into a slower pace of being for a weekend in order to care for your soul, body and mind.
About the Retreat
Location: The home base for the Soul Trails is Biella, a historic Italian town at the foot of the Alps. The surrounding mountains here are absolutely stunning!

Guidebook: Our carefully designed retreat guidebook will accompany you through creative practices that invite you to a deep exploration of the landscape of your soul, and encounter nature, self, and the Divine Love.

Accommodation: You will be staying at a handmade artisan guest house where both your body and soul will rest. Your on-site hosts will assure all the practical details of your personal weekend away have been worked out for a restful retreat experience. Learn more about your hosts and their guest house here.

The retreat guidebook has been written and designed by a trained spiritual director and experienced retreat facilitator, Kaisa. She loves accompanying people of all ages and backgrounds in their unique spiritual lives. Her own spirituality is intimately connected to nature. You can learn more about Kaisa here. Kaisa is the founder and a Spiritual Director at Kutsu Companions.

Note, she is not currently offering one-to-one Spiritual Direction. If you would like to prepare for the experience or process your retreat afterwards with a Spiritual Director and are not currently meeting with one and need help, feel free to reach out to us via the contact form below.

Hosts

Tiina and Giona are your on-site hosts in Biella, Italy. They are passionate community builders, seekers of beauty, sustainable life and authentic spirituality. Learn more about Up-Cycle House, their community house project, here.

Trail
There are several trail options near the accommodation, some begin within a short walking distance and others are accessible by an easy bus ride. We recommend you to come with a hiking companion, for your safety. Also a good physical condition and good hiking shoes are required. Some hiking experience is preferable. However it is not mandatory to venture for an Alpine hike. We can suggest a lighter walk or even a wet weather option for your retreat.

COST
This retreat is on a "trust" pay-as-you-feel basis. Our suggested minimum donation is 60 euros ( or $ 65 ) to cover the basic hosting expenses. We truly believe that restorative rhythms, such as a weekend away in nature, are not a luxury for the rich but a necessity for all. Your donation will help cover the hospitality costs, and if you are able, sponsor retreatants who have less resources available.

This option will cover the basics of your weekend: accommodation, light breakfast and a print for the retreat guide, but not the work put into creating the experience for you.
